Discovery or Ignorance..

The greatest tragedy of the current generation is that they try to overlook what happened in the past. One of the reason may be since past is not as lucrative as of the future or the present. If I look into how the society was developed, I could figure out that it takes ages and ages, over a million years ago when mankind first realise the need to society. Mankind is recognized as ‘The smartest living being’ nature ever created. So smart that it managed to overcome their past in very little or no time, in good and bad way, both. But all this development was always influenced by what other were possessing or having. Challenge, greediness, excitement, dreams, power, and all other human emotions made human society to be what they are today. Some people call it as development and very few call it as loosing the virtue. Whatever the reason may be, but one thing is inevitable, and it is ‘change’. May be because biologically/genetically we are designed to go through the changes, even if we want or not. And because of our ‘smartness’, we are always in a process of controlling our changes. So human body or society, culture or practices, we, want to control the changes, may be influenced by others or by our self.

In biology class, I was told that we are predators, since we cannot do the photosynthesis, we are like all other animals. We survive on others. So is it true with our thought process? If I ask myself, then YES. What we think, what we dream, what we act, is somehow representation of the things we experienced in the past. No action is self generated, but influenced. Not necessary from the people, but may be from animals, from nature. Early development was based on nature and animals so to speak.

I am getting old day by day. But as I am getting older, rather than moving into the future, I am going back in to time. Trying to understand my presence. Where and why I am here? How much efforts did the mankind take to be me at what I am today. Though ‘who I am today’ is greatly prejudiced by my surrounding, rather my life.

Every day I am discovering the past and ignoring the future. In absolute sense, they both are useless. But maybe I will be a position, someday, to tell next generation, about the past they are going to ignore.

Life is beautiful but not as mind.
