I hate to admit this. I hate to admit this. But this video makes me cry.

I've learned....
I've learned.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.
I've learned.... That when you're in love, it shows.
I've learned.... That just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.
I've learned.... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.
I've learned.... That you should never say no to a gift from a child.
I've learned.... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.
I've learned.... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
I've learned.... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
I've learned.... That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.
I've learned.... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I've learned.... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned.... That money doesn't buy class.
I've learned.... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I've learned.... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
I've learned.... That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I've learned.... That when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
I've learned.... That love, not time, heals all wounds.
I've learned.... That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
I've learned.... That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
I've learned.... That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
I've learned.... That life is tough, but I'm tougher.
I've learned.... That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
I've learned.... That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
I've learned.... That I wish I could have told my grandmother that I love her one more time before she passed away.
I've learned.... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
I've learned.... That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
I've learned.... That I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
I've learned.... That when newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.
I've learned.... That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
I've learned ... That it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life threatening situation.
I've learned.... That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

Desires and Emotions
One’s life is always influenced by desires and emotions. Some may deny this fact and some will agree. What makes it more interesting is the fact that it is not solely based on our own requirements but largely influenced by things around us. I am counting people in the ‘thing’. I am always amazed by how someone’s desires can change depending on the surrounding. And getting those desires people always put lots of emotions. Then it comes to classical discussion of how very few people can manage to achieve it and why most of us fails? Why very few are successful and rest of the people struggles? Though successful is very vague term, but for my point I will term successful as a person who manage to achieve all the desires.
There is one classic theory about ‘the law of attraction’ which in nutshell says that your own thoughts influence change. The more you want it, the more you get it. If I look at it, I can say, atleast from my point of view that this process of ‘wanting’ is the most difficult one. Do you really really want it or you just need it? Focusing on the process of wanting is very critical, especially when you have constant fear (or view) of consequences of not getting it. Managing your positive thoughts over the negative one is way more difficult.
The humanity survived and growing. Changes are happening and probably few people are responsible for most of the changes. There are more desires in me than ever. Let’s see what wins, the positive desire or negative thoughts.

Become intellectual in four easy steps:
After keeping this secrete with many years, I thought of sharing it with rest of the dumb community of the world. This effort will boost my chances of getting Noble peace prize tremendously. So here it goes, much awaited secrete.
Step 1: Be normal. I know you are dumb and just be like that. Do not try to show that you are smart. Rather I will advise to be more dumb. Do it in group of people to whom you want to prove that you are intellectual
Step 2: Read very different, strange, not much popular article from internet such as global peace index, ease of doing business index, human development index etc etc. I will provide some sample topics if you needed. Just contact me over my satellite phone
Step 3: Give your opinion about this topic infront of the group of people. Obviously no one will be knowing about that topic and they will be interested in knowing more. They will think that you know some really interesting things
Step 4: Go back to normal. Be dumb again, as what you are
Analysis:
By following above steps people will get the impression that you are not dumb but just act like one. They will think that you know lot of stuff but do not share with everyone, probably only with highly intellectual people who knows about that kind of stuff. They will think that you just enjoy pretending to be dumb and this way you will look more mysterious person.
Result:
You will be recognized at very intellectual person. Also your chances of getting laid with intellectual girl will be very high. True story!
Repeat this again infornt of group of people to whom you want to show that you are intellectual.
Peace and Piece

Discovery or Ignorance..
The greatest tragedy of the current generation is that they try to overlook what happened in the past. One of the reason may be since past is not as lucrative as of the future or the present. If I look into how the society was developed, I could figure out that it takes ages and ages, over a million years ago when mankind first realise the need to society. Mankind is recognized as ‘The smartest living being’ nature ever created. So smart that it managed to overcome their past in very little or no time, in good and bad way, both. But all this development was always influenced by what other were possessing or having. Challenge, greediness, excitement, dreams, power, and all other human emotions made human society to be what they are today. Some people call it as development and very few call it as loosing the virtue. Whatever the reason may be, but one thing is inevitable, and it is ‘change’. May be because biologically/genetically we are designed to go through the changes, even if we want or not. And because of our ‘smartness’, we are always in a process of controlling our changes. So human body or society, culture or practices, we, want to control the changes, may be influenced by others or by our self.
In biology class, I was told that we are predators, since we cannot do the photosynthesis, we are like all other animals. We survive on others. So is it true with our thought process? If I ask myself, then YES. What we think, what we dream, what we act, is somehow representation of the things we experienced in the past. No action is self generated, but influenced. Not necessary from the people, but may be from animals, from nature. Early development was based on nature and animals so to speak.
I am getting old day by day. But as I am getting older, rather than moving into the future, I am going back in to time. Trying to understand my presence. Where and why I am here? How much efforts did the mankind take to be me at what I am today. Though ‘who I am today’ is greatly prejudiced by my surrounding, rather my life.
Every day I am discovering the past and ignoring the future. In absolute sense, they both are useless. But maybe I will be a position, someday, to tell next generation, about the past they are going to ignore.
Life is beautiful but not as mind.

Travelling to India? Part I – India, a little bit history..
Present day India was 'Indian Continent' few hundred years ago. It included countries currently recognize as Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka. Looking at current situation, all these countries, including India, are way down in all sort of world indies (giving an example, global transparency index, global peace index, human development index etc). But once it was the most prosperous nation of the world. And it was India's reputation which attracted many ethnic groups from across the globe to travel to India. It is still said that 'Aryans' and 'Dravidian' were a amongst first to migrate to India. 'Aryans' are believed to be from Europe, and near East.
India is a country which never invaded any other country in its thousands of years of history, but did witnessed many attacks, many empires, many cultures. But still, even today, it is most welcoming country when it comes to guests. Many researches connects cast system directly with migration of 'Aryans' and 'Dravidian' to India. It's still a debate. Right from Aryans, Dravidian to Mughals, from British to Portuguese, everyone left permanent mark on heart and soul of India. Some emperors loved India and tried to do best for the country, some rulers just looted India. Whatever the case, ancient Indian subcontinent managed to maintain it's rich heritage. It was home for Arts, education, science and technology, earliest industrialization, which is lost somewhere today. To give some facts,
• India invented number system. Aryabhatta invented Zero
• The world's first university was established in Takshila, 700BC. More than 10500 students across the world studied more than 60 subjects
• Sanskrit was one of highly developed language with the script.
• Ayurveda was first school of medicine known to humans
• The art of navigation system was born some 5000years ago. The very world navigation is derived from sanskrit world 'Navgatih'
• Budhayana first calculated value of Pi and he explain the concept which is now known as Phythagorean Theorem.
• Quadratic equations were by Sridharacharya in the 11th century
• Up until 1896, India was the only source of diamond in the world
• The earliest reservoir and dam for irrigation was build in Saurashtra
• Sushruta is the father of surgery. 2600 years ago he and health scientist of his time conducted surgeries like cesareans, cataract, fractures, and urinary stones
• Usage on Anesthesia was well known in ancient India
• The decimal system was developed in India in 100BC
• Birthplace to many religions
• Kalari Payat martial art was invented in India in 500BC. Bought to China through Indian Monk, Bodhidharma. Shaolin temple consider this as parent of Kung fu and Karate
• Yoga and Meditation was invented in India
• Kamasutra, worlds oldest treaties on Sex was written in India
There are many many achievements from Ancient India. It was country of great heritage and culture. But something terribly went wrong. We will explore it in subsequent posts.
British rule in India is one of the most talked subject amongst the youth in India. Many people in India have different views about British rule in India. Some views are positive, some views are negative. When India got Independence from Britain, country was in total mess. There were mainly social issues specifically related to cast and religion, extreme religious people, lack of education and of course poverty. After the Independence, Indian government's main focus was on social issues than the economical issues. It was need of time, else today India would have been divided into many countries. They managed to stabilized social issues to a great extent, but since because of countries extreme diversity it cannot be eliminated forever. Somewhere in 90's we realized that we are focusing too much on social issues but economical issues are completely neglected. Major reforms were implemented and the result is India became second fasted growing economy today.
I visited India recently and I was looking at impact of 7.9% of annual growth rate. It is not visible if looked from outside, but you will have to look inside. Yes, country is changing.

Travelling to India? Think Again...
Disclaimer: The following article represents views of the author. There can be very different views from different people. Reader’s discretion is advised.
“India is NOT a touristy country, but it’s an experience. The experience may be good or bad, depending upon what you look for”, this is a very routine sentence I say if someone ask me about travelling in India. Day by day I am becoming more and more interested in travelling. I am travelling whenever I am getting free time. New places, new countries, new people, entire new way of living. During my visit, I always try to look, understand the way people live their life, things which are most important to local people. I always try to understand their world. Since I am travelling on regular basis, I am meeting people from various part of globe quite frequently and therefore I thought of sharing something to traveller’s community. I decided to write posts about India. Why? Probably this is the only country I know better so I have many things to write about this crowded place on planet. For the people who don’t know me, I am an Indian, spend my 25 years living in various parts of India. Currently I am living in some different part of the world. May be because I am away from India at this moment, I guess I can write unbiased views.
In upcoming weeks/months you will find various posts about various things happening in daily life of an Indian. It is said that rather than reading, watching is more quick and effective way. And that's why before I start talking anything about India, have a look at following three videos.
Incredible India! Director’s cut:
Unarguably this is the best advertise I saw about India tourism, because it captured the essence of India. Of course focused only on the good aspects.
Indians in 90 seconds:
One of the classic description about Indians. I really cannot talk about India without talking about Indians.
A day in the life of India:
A real life picture of what happens in daily life of India. It’s not the only thing but definitely somewhere, sometime it is happening for sure.
India, country with more than 1 billion people, about 27 states who speaks different languages with different scripts, entirely different culture, home for probably all the religions found in the world. It's a world in itself. So if you are travelling to India, remember you are travelling to entirely different world. With 1 billion population, you will find all kind of people from society. People who dont get food to eat and people who are driving the most expensive cars of the world. People who are highly educated and with high moral values to people who are ready to do anything for their survival. Every person is a different, but tied with each other with some invisible bond. Indians creeping about their country all the time but some foreigner visit then, they proudly say 'My India'.
to be continued..
